Abbey ghost at Glastonbury,
UK!
Judith writes, "I am sending the attached photo
to you as the information on your site has helped me understand what this
might be. This picture was taken inside the ruins of the Abbey at Glastonbury
on 10 December 2002. I was attending a spiritual retreat at a house in the
Abbey grounds and the vibe was very intense. After lunch, it started to snow
and I went out to the Abbey and began taking photos. This was the first one I
took inside the Abbey. I saw nothing when I took the photo but whole
atmosphere was very strange - still and claustrophobic. There is no trace of
mist on any of the other photos I took. I am struck by how similar in shape
this manifestation is to the other photo you have on your site taken within
the same Abbey grounds. If you look at the right hand side of the balcony, you
will see what looks like another tall figure - this `figure` looks remarkably
similar to the dark figure in the background of the earlier photo....!
Glastonbury is one of the most powerful spiritual sites in the Western world,
steeped in ancient history and legend. The spirit that is said to reside
within the Abbey grounds takes the form of a black armored knight with red
eyes. (The mist in both photos looks more like a robed man with a long white
beard to me - but what of the more distant figure?) This spirit is said to
protect the Arthurian legend and induce forgetfulness in those who pry to
closely. It is also said to recognize those `of pure and noble heart`. My
research continues....."

This is an impressive apparition photo! He looks
so regal, and I see a bearded man wearing what appears to be a crown.
Could this be King Arthur himself?
