Misty form at Renaissance
Faire!
Donna writes, "Hello. My name is Donna Yarborough. I would like for
you to take a look at the attached photo. It was taken
of me in performance this summer at
Sterling Renaissance Festival, located on the shores
of Lake Ontario, near Oswego, NY. Since at first
glance one could dismiss it as a double-exposure (there
appears to be mulch in the upper right-hand corner), allow
me to explain the possible significance of the cloud.
My summer was plagued with mysterious health issues.
In the beginning of July, I had several off-and-on bouts
with full-back spasms. They evolved to beginning with
a tell-tale headache that would move to clench
up my shoulders then travel down my back. A day
or two later, the spasm would ease up and release.
On July 23, the headache returned. I was unable to sit
up at all for four days. Doctors dismissed it as
a cervical/neck strain, then migraines (which I had never
had before), but the headache did not leave and
was still debilitating. A chiropractor (whom I went to
in the 3rd week of the headache) commented when adjusting
my skull, that I looked as if my head had been put in
a vise grip. Not until my contract ended and
I returned to my home in Texas, 5 weeks after the
headache had set on, did I mark any improvement. It is
now 8 weeks since the headache started, and an MRI
has shown that I have evidence of some sort of head trauma.
The problem is, I did not do anything this summer that
would have caused such damage. This is where the
photo comes in. The grounds of the festival
and the surrounding area are very spiritually charged
(it was Indian territory, and nearby Fort Ontario
saw a lot of action). In particular, there is a
very malicious "dark spirit" that has tested and threatened
several cast members in years past. Now, when the
photo was handed to me, I and others remarked at how
the cloud engulfed my head. There appears to be a dark
trail leading to the base of my skull, which was where
a majority of my pain seemed to be
originating at the time (that pain has released since
I have left the grounds). The black areas above
my forehead have the appearance of a profile. One person
even commented, "You brought the black thing up
here!" So, what do you
think? Is it a freak coincidence of overlaying images?
Did my pain create an impression? Or
was I perhaps subject to a psychic attack? I would
like to hear the opinion of those familiar with unexplained
images. Thank you for your time."
